Red Hat: New cloud strategy

Red Hat has outlined its future cloud strategy. After introducing it last June, the company now plans to extend its Cloud Foundations with new management tools to simplify the implementation and management of cloud infrastructures. Red Hat will base its efforts on the Deltacloud project, which was launched a year ago to develop a standard API for addressing different cloud architectures and has been maintained under the auspices of the Apache Foundation since earlier this summer. Red Hat has proposed the Deltacloud API to the Distributed Management Task Force as a standard cloud API.
