Ghostscript 9.0 supports ICC profiles

The developers have released Ghostscript 9.0 for downloading (direct download link). The first major release in years of the free PostScript interpreter supports colour management in accordance with the International Colour Consortium (ICC) standard and can also implement third-party Colour Management Modules (CMMs).

The second major change that developers mention is the use of Freetype to render fonts (except for Type-3 fonts). The developers have also improved performance and interaction with the PDF interpreter.
