Mozilla celebrates 6 years of Firefox

Six years ago on the 9th of November, 2004, Mozilla released version 1.0 of its open source Firefox web browser. The latest versions of Firefox are now available in more than 70 languages and are used by nearly 25% of internet users. Established more than 10 years ago, the Mozilla Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to “promote openness, innovation and opportunity on the Web”.
