Available Now: VirtualBox 4.0.2

Last evening, January 18th, Oracle updated its popular and powerful VirtualBox virtualization software to version 4.0.2. This new maintenance release brings lots of stability improvements and many bugfixes over previous versions.

VirtualBox 4.0.2 binaries are available for download (see the link at the end of the article) for Linux, Solaris, OpenSolaris, Windows and Macintosh platforms. Without further introduction, let’s take a look at the changes brought by VirtualBox 4.0.2:

· Fixed USB device enumeration bug for Linux hosts;
· Fixed allocation memory issue for Linux hosts;
· VBoxService guest control parameters parsing issues were fixed for Guest Additions;
· Fixed USB device enumeration bug for rdesktop-vrdp;
· Fixed a GUI crash when the removable host drive vanished;
· Fixed a GUI crash when the KDE SC’s Oxygen theme was used and the settings button was clicked;
