Web site to showcase GNOME 3

The GNOME Project has published a web site gnome3.org, to showcase the forthcoming GNOME 3 desktop environment, due for release in April 2011. The web site currently contains a simple overview of the features of the new version of GNOME, plus an FAQ section and a page that describes how to download and compile the code for those wishing “to help out with development and filing bugs”.

The web site claims that the new version of the GNOME desktop will be much more visually appealing, and will make it easy for users to keep track of on-going tasks.
