Fedora Weekly News 278

Welcome to Fedora Weekly News Issue 278[1] for the week ending June 8,
2011. What follows are some highlights from this issue.

We begin with announcements from the Project, including notice of
retiring blogs.fedoraproject.org, appointment of Guillermo Gomez to the
Fedora Board, and bids opening for an upcoming APAC FUDCon. In
Development news, details on a FESCo Town Hall, and recent changes to
the packaging guidelines. This week brings another 11 articles on Fedora
from the trade press and blogosphere around Fedora 15, GNOME 3 and
Doctor Who! Ambassadors brings us current with the latest from that
team, including new members from Germany and Brazil, the very useful
summary of traffic on the Ambassadors and FAmSCO discussion lists. And
Security Advisories rounds up this issue with more security related
packages for Fedora 13, 14 and 15.
