As Android Invades Businesses, Big Changes Lie Ahead

Many people who work in large organizations where they are subject to the rule of two-fisted IT departments are already very familiar with being restricted from using Android phones and devices. Lots of IT administrators remain convinced that Android–and applications for the platform–aren’t secure. And there is a lot of data to support that view, including recent reports from Juniper Networks about the rapid spread of Android-based malware. However, over the next couple of years Android use in businesses is predicted by many to surge, to the point where Android devices may be more popular than Blackberries and iPhones. That’s going to cause IT departments major headaches.
