Unity 2D dropped from Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal"

From the upcoming 12.10 “Quantal Quetzal” release onwards, Ubuntu will not include the 2D variant of the Unity desktop user interface and has a different plan for systems without 3D hardware acceleration
