Announcing MagentoLive Events – Debuting in the UK
2012 has been another incredible year for Magento and our ecosystem of businesses, partners, and developers who have made Magento the fastest growing eCommerce platform in the world. To date, Magento enables more than 125,000 businesses to build and run their online stores, capturing 31.4% share of the market across all versions of Magento, according to an aheadWorks post – and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Our commitment to our community members has never been stronger. We’re actively expanding our capabilities to keep up with your needs. We’re investing in our business in new ways so yours continue to grow. And we’re listening more than ever. Your ideas, observations, and feedback make a direct impact on our plans and decisions every day.
One of the things you’ve asked for is more opportunity to connect with Magento employees and other community members throughout the year. So we are thrilled to announce a new series of events in response to your request called MagentoLive.
MagentoLive events will deliver valuable content from the Magento team and our talented ecosystem of eCommerce experts to the places where our community members – you! – live and work. To complement other community-driven events and our annual Magento Imagine eCommerce Conference – MagentoLive events have been designed to be more intimate, locally relevant, forward thinking experiences.
MagentoLive UK – Coming November 13th
We’re kicking off MagentoLive this year with MagentoLive UK, which will take place on Tuesday, November 13 in London. This will be a great forum to learn about what’s going on at Magento, participate in conversations about eCommerce trends and growth, network with smart and interesting community members and, of course, have fun (no Magento event is complete without a great party!). Also, Magento Developer Certification will be offered, so be sure to get your Magento U Training in before coming to MagentoLive.
We look forward to seeing you in London!
