Drag-and-drop web builder goes into beta

Looking for a cool website but don’t have the skills to do it yourself? The good news is that SA startup SynthaSite last night announced the release of a beta version of its drag-and-drop website building tool.

Built using Ajax, SynthaSite is intended to make it as simple as possible for users to build their own websites using pre-built templates, layout tools and drag-and-drop APIs (application programming interfaces) to add content to the site. Currently Synthasite allows users to drag-and-drop content from YourMinis, YouTube, SmugMug, FlickR, Revver, MetaCafe, Google Video and others.
