SCO’s Lawyer’s October Bill, as text

Here’s Berger Singerman’s monthly bill for October [PDF], their magnus opus. War and Peace, for real. I surely hope that SCO is out of bankruptcy by the end of this month so I never have to do one of their lawyer’s bills again as text. And when I think of how many lawyers they want to retain, I want to fly to Rio. How would you like to be a lawyer and have to keep track of your time like this? Some lawyers are asking for a change to a flat fee, just because this is so annoying.

But it surely is interesting. We see that the bill reflects that there were four offers to buy SCO’s business/assets, not two. If York’s offer was the best of the lot, I shudder for SCO. And we see an attorney who I gather seems to be looking out for any Sarbanes Oxley/SEC issues. Also there seems to be legal activity regarding appealing any Nasdaq delisting, the IPO litigation, and something on the bill talking about litigation regarding Sunray.
